The NVvT is of the opinion that a competent, professional roleplay actor should meet a couple of standards. Naturally, this profile is not set in stone. The association periodically reviews the profile and modifies it if necessary.
Education
Completed a roleplay acting course;
University of applied sciences degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge
Knowledge of the most commonly-used learning theories, models, concepts and work formats; corporate knowledge of the organization that hires the roleplay actor.
Skills
Acting (in particular, applied drama); the ability to keep a bird’s eye view of the roleplay while acting; the ability to give constructive, concrete feedback; the ability to advise the trainer.
