Education and training
In a training, a roleplay actor has a big influence on the participant’s learning process. It is important for roleplay actors to keep developing themselves, to keep up-to-date with the latest development within the sector, to stay open for feedback from others and to endeavor to provide the best possible service. Roleplay actors can hone their skills through workshops and events organized by the NVvT. Additionally, the association encourages peer-to-peer coaching groups and it keeps an eye on new, innovative training formats, such as the use of game-based learning and Virtual Reality (VR).
Along with workshops and events, the NVvT has created an overview of courses on roleplay acting (page in Dutch) offered by several training institutions, including reviews from members who have followed these courses. This overview is kept up-to-date. The guide to choosing a roleplay acting course can be a helpful tool for those who are yet unsure of which course would suit their needs best.
The members of the NVvT endorse the code of conduct so that the highest level of professionalism and quality can be upheld.
